    Fez Ogbazion opened his first Instant Refund Tax Service office in January of 1994 while still a sophomore accounting and finance major at the University of Cincinnati.

    He prepared 600 returns that first tax season, and business grew dramatically over the next five years. By 1999, Instant Refund Tax Service was preparing over 21,000 returns in 26 locations.

    The success of Instant Refund Tax Service was a testament to Fez’s carefully executed business plan and commitment to a superior level of customer service. A Fortune 500 company, sensing a major competitor in the area, offered to buy Instant Refund Tax Service in November of 1999. Fez, ever the entrepreneur, went on to re-invest the money… into what would become Instant Tax Service.
